Local King scallops baked with cauliflower puree & chorizo, topped with breadcrumbs & cheese

Salmon Cheesecake

Our homemade salmon mousse with an oat biscuit base topped with a Tiger prawn & our seafood sauce


Beef Carpaccio

Thinly sliced Manx fillet of beef served with a pear, walnut & Roquefort salad

Traditional Turkey

Sliced turkey breast, ham, stuffing, pigs in blankets & a Yorkshire pudding with roast potatoes & gravy


Sirloin of Beef

Sliced beef, mash potato, green beans & a Yorkshire pudding with a Diane sauce

Guinea Fowl

Breast & thigh cooked on the bone served with cauliflower puree, crispy smoked bacon, sprouts & roast potatoes


Hake steak

Crab & herb crusted hake steak served with mash potato, asparagus & a bouillabaisse sauce


Cod & Scallop Gratin

Chunks of cod & delicious local Manx scallops cooked in a creamy smoked bacon & leek sauce, topped with breadcrumbs & cheese, served with a pesto salad


Festive Vegetable Pancake

Sweet potatoes & festive vegetables slow cooked in a creamy tomato, rosemary & garlic sauce, wrapped in a savoury pancake, topped with feta cheese, honey & toasted pine nuts, served with mixed salad

Welcome to  Filbey’s  website, a little restaurant in Peel.

We do hope that you enjoy viewing our website and if you have already visited, you return not just as customers but as our friends. It has been a tiny seed growing in our minds for years,  for us to open our own little restaurant on the Isle of Man. With a lot of hard work we have finally got there and to be located in Peel with the harbour & castle views, really does makes it special.

We have designed the restaurant to give a contemporary feel with warm lighting with wall hangings and artwork designed by Adele’s hands herself. We aim to bring the similar contemporary look to our menu’s too using the freshest local Manx produce. With all dishes being homemade on the premises and to have fresh fish on our door step too is a dream for any restaurateur or chef.

Please view our menu’s, we strive to use as much local produce as possible from local suppliers!
